Building A Christ Centred Community

The Vision

There are very few Bible preaching, gospel driven, Christ centred churches in our area. There are even less that have a meeting on a Sunday evening.

Talking to various people in our congregation it became apparent that for many of them they would find it easier to invite a friend to an evening meeting than a morning meeting simply for getting out of bed reasons if no others!

Our vision is to plant a vibrant Sunday evening church meeting that it is easy to invite your friends along to, centred on Christ, driven by the gospel and committed to declaring all that God has to say to us in his word, the Bible.

The Plan

From September to December 2011 our core group began our planning by clearing away our presuppositions, understanding what is foundational to church and understanding our culture.

From January to March 2012 we will seek to grow that core group through networking and evangelism, whilst we begin to solidify our vision of how the meetings will run.

From April to August 2012 that increased group will be solidified and final specific plans made, while we continue to reach out with the gospel

In September 2012 we will seek to launch the new evening meeting.
